After a 5-year hiatus, we were delighted to bring back the MAS Movie night on Thursday 20 May, with a screening of Despicable Me 4 in 12 regions across the country.

It was a successful night with over 2,000 tickets purchased, and we loved having the opportunity to connect with our Members along with their whānau and friends, at such a fun event.

There were special Minion-themed activities for the little (and big) kids with balloon artists and face painting. It was great to see many of our younger guests getting into the Minions theme with some fantastic outfits, with some prizes being awarded for the best outfits.

The feedback from our Members has been really positive, with one Member telling their MAS Adviser that his daughter said “it was the best night of her life”! That makes us feel really proud to be a mutual, which enables us to be able to put on these special events for our Members.

We were unfortunately unable to run the Whangarei MAS Movie Night due to a power outage in the region, but we will be rescheduling it with ticket holders as soon as possible.

Here are some pictures of the Minion fun from around the country.
