1. These terms and conditions apply to both applicants for and recipients of the MAS Future Director Programme. We refer to both as “candidates” for the purposes of these terms and conditions.
  2. The awarding of places in the Programme is made at the sole discretion of MAS. Published criteria used to assess applications may change at any time at MAS’ discretion.
  3. Candidates must be a “Full Member” of MAS as defined under the terms of MAS Members Trust Deed at the time of application and for the course of the Programme period. Candidates must be registered by their professional body, in good standing, and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate for the period they are in the Programme.
  4. Candidates observing MAS Board and Committees must agree to confidentiality and execute MAS’s Non-Disclosure Agreement.
  5. Candidates agree to the use of image/quotes for MAS marketing.
  6. Candidates agree to enrol and attend any course they have proposed, and MAS has agreed to fund within 12 months of the Programme award, otherwise the Programme in its entirety, including any course funding, is forfeited.
  7. Candidates who receive offers of programme from MAS will have additional terms of that offer, particularly to the candidate set out in a letter of offer from MAS. That letter and these terms and conditions together form the agreement with the candidate. If there is any conflict between these terms and conditions and the letter of offer, the letter of offer prevails.
  8. Candidates agree to report back to the MAS Nominations Committee/MAS Board on learnings/takeouts from course or observations.
  9. Candidates agree that there is no expectation of a future position on the MAS Board or preferential treatment for future Practitioner Trustees in the MAS Board Nominations process.

  11. MAS may at any time during the Programme period, in its sole discretion, determine that the recipient’s attendance at MAS Board and Committee meetings is not required, whether for one or more meetings or to the end of the Programme period.
  12. Personal information submitted as part of any application is collected, used, stored and disclosed in accordance with the MAS Privacy Statement.
  13. If the candidate does not comply with these terms and conditions, MAS reserves the right to withdraw the Programme benefits from the recipient.
